This is a Service For Collectors By Collectors

The benefits of NPC membership embrace the concept that "knowledge is power".

Expertizing: Obtain an opinion or certification of your philatelic items.

Online Members Only Areas: Log-in and update your membership profile. Read well-researched and informative articles. Access the Q&A area and direct your questions to your selected committee member or researcher. Also, take advantage of the online publication specials eg Brusden White Catalogues, as they come up, plus more…

Library: NPC is happy to assist you with your research. Access the online Research Library that has been compiled by various experts and committee members.

Learning Opportunities: Learn more about collecting through NPC’s Research Library or receive one-on-one help through the Mentor Program, subject to mentor availability. The Mentor Program will assist beginners to semi-advanced collectors, guiding them into future directions and other opportunities. Mentors, when available, will help you with your questions about collecting skills, the material you collect and ways in which you can find resources to help you in your collecting pursuits.

Insurance: With our referral, you can protect your collection with the most comprehensive philatelic coverage available or you can enquire yourself via the direct link provided.

Publications: Take advantage of our member discounts on Brusden White catalogues and other publications relevant to Australian philately. OUR BOOK LIST will offer titles covering a wide range of topics for all levels of collectors. Initially this service will be only on request.

Scientific Services

NPC works in co-operation with Scientific Document Services Pty Ltd, that has the facility to further extend the investigation if necessary. This includes hi tech Fast Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman Spectroscopy, Microspectroscopy and more.

Appraisals

Our appraisal service is only available to deceased estate executors and collectors who require this service for the purpose of insurance valuations and more.

Please contact us with your requirements and we will forward you a quotation fee and any further information. Again this service is available to members only.

1915 5/- 1st WMK KANGAROO BRUSDEN WHITE ACSC 42B,c, MISPLACED KANGAROO DOWNWARDS.

Obviously one sheet would have been printed in error with this variety, but sadly our records show that this pair are the only survivors.

This pair were last sold at the Sydney stamp auction in 1988 for $3200 and are still in possession with the same collector. They are catalogued in BW 2022 at $40,000.00 for the pair.
5/- (shillings) values with the varied misplacement also exist in the 2nd and 3rd and SM WMKs all listed in the Brusden White Acsc catalogues.

NB. We have always dreamed that there must be more out there, not so much as mint but a fair possibility in used. Lets keep searching.
Happy hunting Members.
